CardioCrown founders go the extra mile to raise funds and awareness for the Stroke Association, finishing their first half marathon and surpassing fundraising goals.
This past weekend, CardioCrown’s founders, Victor Harabari and Heraldas Gaspariunas, laced up their running shoes and completed their first half marathon, crossing the finish line together in 2 hours, 30 minutes, and 9 seconds!
Victor shared: “Running the half marathon was challenging, but knowing we were supporting the Stroke Association kept us going. Stroke can affect anyone at any time, and we’re passionate about raising awareness and supporting the vital work being done to help those impacted.”
Their remarkable achievement goes beyond personal endurance; it’s a reflection of CardioCrown’s commitment to making a positive impact in the stroke community. The team not only surpassed their initial fundraising goal but also raised an impressive total of £490 for the Stroke Association, a charity dedicated to supporting those affected by stroke and advancing stroke research.
“Crossing that finish line was a powerful moment—not just for us personally, but for everyone impacted by stroke,” shared Heraldas Gaspariunas, COO of CardioCrown. “Raising funds for the Stroke Association was our way of contributing to a cause that drives us every day at CardioCrown. This experience has only strengthened our commitment to developing solutions that make a meaningful impact on stroke recovery and quality of life for survivors.”
Stroke is the leading cause of adult disability and can change lives in an instant. At CardioCrown, the team is focused not only on technological innovation but also on fostering community support and awareness. The funds raised will directly contribute to the Stroke Association’s programs, extending crucial resources to individuals and families affected by stroke.
With this fundraising effort, CardioCrown is thrilled to continue their journey of making a positive difference, one step at a time.
