More rehab. Same team. Every setting.
NeuroVive-XR lets your therapists prescribe game-based rehabilitation exercise on XR headsets, tablets and smartphones, from the ward to the patient’s home, with every session on one dashboard.

Patients need more practice
than therapy hours allow.
NeuroVive-XR helps your services deliver more prescribed exercise from the same team, across inpatient, outpatient and home, and it’s simple to buy, deploy and scale.
More therapy from the same team
Group sessions, independent practice and home programs deliver more prescribed exercise without adding staff hours.
Continuity from ward to home
One program follows the patient from inpatient to outpatient to home, supporting discharge planning and follow-up.
Session data for your records
Every session is logged: exercises, time and movement tracking, exportable to PDF for documentation and reporting.
Low capital outlay
Software on off-the-shelf Meta Quest headsets and Android tablets. No specialist rooms, robots or fixed installations.
Easy IT sign-off
Encrypted data, individual logins with multi-factor sign-in, HIPAA-aligned handling, standard HTTPS and automatic secure updates.
Start small, then scale
Begin with a pilot in one service, with training and onboarding included, then roll out across sites and disciplines.

One platform.
Four ways to exercise.
Prescribe from one clinician app, track on one dashboard, and choose the right way to exercise for each patient.
Dozens of exercises, played like a game.
Upper limb, lower limb, trunk, hand and everyday-living exercises on Meta Quest, each adjustable for difficulty, sitting or standing, and the side being trained. Passthrough mode keeps the real room in view for standing, balance and gait work.

Cycle ergometer integrationTurn every pedal stroke into a guided XR session.
Pair the headset with a bicycle ergometer for seated arm-cranking or leg-pedalling. A crank sensor streams cadence and revolutions to the headset, so your patient’s pedalling drives the game.
- 01Attach the crank sensor
- 02Pick a cycling game
- 03Patient pedals to play
- 04Review cadence and revolutions

Tactile glove integrationLet your patients feel what they touch.
With a tactile glove, your patient feels vibration cues in the hand as they reach, grasp and release virtual objects, adding touch to the visual and audio feedback.
- 01Fit the glove
- 02Choose a hand exercise
- 03Touch cues on contact and grasp
- 04Review the session

Tablet & smartphone appNo headset? Exercise on a tablet or phone.
The NeuroVive app runs exercises on a tablet or smartphone, so patients who aren’t ready for a headset, need a break from it, or are at home without one keep working on the same program.
- Touchscreen reaching, tapping and fine-motor tasks
- Ideal for early-stage patients and between headset sessions
- Prescribed, tracked and reviewed alongside XR exercises
- Works for remote programs and telerehabilitation
Ask about ergometer kits and our tactile-glove research when you book your demo.
More than AR. And that matters.
NeuroVive-XR runs on Meta Quest headsets that deliver both virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR), so clinicians choose the right level of immersion for each patient.
AR glasses

- No full immersionCan’t swap a busy ward for a calm, distraction-free practice space
- Narrower display windowDigital content sits in a smaller area of the patient’s view
- Specialist hardwareEnterprise AR headsets cost several times more than a Meta Quest
- Real room in viewDigital content is overlaid on the room, and that is all it can do
NeuroVive-XR: VR + MR

- Full immersion when it helpsSwitch to VR for focused practice or everyday scenes like a kitchen
- Wide field of viewTargets can appear across the patient’s whole field of view, far to either side
- Off-the-shelf, affordable hardwareMeta Quest headsets are widely available and easy to replace
- Real room and therapist in viewFull-color mixed reality keeps patients oriented and face to face with their therapist
Worried about motion sickness? NeuroVive-XR exercises involve no artificial movement through the scene, can be done seated or standing, and mixed reality keeps the real room in view. Session length is set by the treating clinician.
Across every setting.
From hospital to community to home: NeuroVive-XRC in the clinic and NeuroVive-XRR at home, with telerehabilitation connecting them.

Inpatient
Start early and build from the bedside. Run supervised sessions, one-to-one or in groups, straight from the clinician tablet.

Outpatient
Keep momentum between appointments. Use sessions in clinic, then send the same program home.

Built for how therapy
is actually delivered
Patients stay engaged
Points, streaks and challenges turn repetitive exercise into something patients come back to.
Easily progress each patient
Adjust difficulty, position and side to match the patient, from seated to standing.
Real-time feedback
Movement is tracked during every exercise, so patients see how they're doing as they go.
Less setup. More treating.
Pick the program, put on the headset and start. Group mode runs several patients at once.
Not another exercise sheet.
Paper home programs
- A printed sheet and good intentions
- No way to know if exercises were done
- No feedback on how a movement went
- Progressing means another appointment
- The same routine, every day
NeuroVive-XR
- Guided, interactive exercise in XR or on a tablet or phone
- Every session synced to your dashboard
- Real-time feedback during each exercise

Track every session
Movement tracking per session, exercise mix and session counts, exportable to PDF.
Co-designed with therapists and patients, not just for them.
NeuroVive-XR was shaped in hospital therapy rooms and patient involvement sessions with NHS trusts and university partners. Therapists and patients helped design the exercises, menus and dashboard from the start.

Answers to your most asked questions
How long does it take to get started?
Clinicians are trained before first use, we handle device setup and onboarding, and our service team stays on hand for support and updates.
How is patient data protected?
All data is encrypted and stored securely, each clinician has an individual login with multi-factor sign-in, and only authorized staff can access patient information. Data handling is HIPAA-aligned.
What hardware do we need?
Meta Quest 3 or Quest 3S headsets, an Android tablet (version 12 or later) for the clinician app, and Wi-Fi. App-based exercises run on a tablet or smartphone. Cycle ergometer kits are available as an add-on; the tactile glove is currently in research with Northumbria University. We can supply a complete kit or set up equipment you already own.
Does it work with other rehabilitation equipment?
Yes. NeuroVive-XR integrates with cycle ergometers for arm-crank and leg-pedal sessions (studied with Manchester Metropolitan University), and a tactile glove that adds touch cues to hand exercises is in research with Northumbria University. Both are managed from the same clinician app and dashboard.
