CardioCrown Showcases Neurovive’s VR Therapies at Sussex Hospital

Introducing therapists to the tools that can support their therapy sessions

Last Thursday, CardioCrown had the opportunity of showcasing our innovative Neurovive VR therapies at Sussex Hospital. This provided stroke therapists with a unique opportunity to experience our state-of-the-art rehabilitation platform, designed to enhance recovery outcomes for stroke survivors through immersive virtual reality (VR) technology.

What is Neurovive?
Neurovive is a comprehensive neurorehabilitation system that leverages VR to offer tailored therapy sessions for stroke patients. By immersing patients in engaging environments, Neurovive aims to facilitate motor skill recovery, cognitive rehabilitation, and emotional well-being. Our platform incorporates various therapy modules, including exercises for physical movement, cognitive challenges, and mental health support, all designed to be adaptable to individual patient needs.

During the showcase, stroke therapists participated in hands-on sessions where they interacted directly with the Neurovive system. They had the chance to try out various therapy modules, assessing how each can be integrated into existing rehabilitation protocols. Their feedback is invaluable, as it will help us refine and enhance Neurovive to optimise patient outcomes further.

The event not only highlighted the potential of VR in stroke rehabilitation but also fostered important discussions about how immersive technologies can revolutionise therapeutic practices within the healthcare sector. Therapists expressed excitement about the engaging nature of the therapy sessions, noting how Neurovive could potentially increase patient motivation and adherence to rehabilitation programs.
